This watercolor painting began as a quiet meditation—shapes forming like thoughts, memories, or stones stacked gently over time. Each form holds its own texture and story, much like the experiences we gather as we age. Some are vivid and loud, others soft or barely marked, but all of them belong.
With age, I’ve grown more grateful for the things I carry—not just the joyful moments, but the weightier ones too. They have shaped how I see, create, and connect. What We Carry is a visual expression of that: a gentle acknowledgment of the complexity we hold, and the grace that comes from honoring every part of it.
