Gabriela Nunez

Gabriela primarily focuses on the women and their children of the Peruvian Andes. Her inspiration comes from the innocence of the Indigenous of the Andes. the ready expression of  emotions on their faces, the size and strength of their hand  and feet and the hard work they do. Gabriela is impressed by the clothe knit, supporting traditions the exist amongst the women. Her paintings represent her own vision of the Andean women of my country. She does it with creativity, love and respect. Gabriela would like people to see through her paintings the beauty of her culture.

 I paint from memory and soul. Inspired by the women of the Andes, my art blends heritage, emotion and imagination.
