Vivid colors, pronounced textures and the process of designing hand-colored papers are at the heart of what motivates mixed media artist, Deborah Horvath.  Creating art that rewards the viewer with surprising details, and presenting a bright moment in their day, allows Deborah to continuously explore fresh images and themes to the delight of those that enjoy her art.   

Pursuing mixed media art to new levels is the driving force behind my latest piece.  Exploring different ways to use the hand printed/painted paper that I love creating, while combining it with a love of the unexpected and upcycling, keeps the art form fresh and uniquely mine.
